Why do you DO the things you DO? (And why don’t you DO the things you know you “should” be DOING?)
Do you procrastinate, lose your temper (more than you like to admit), hide yourself, give more to others than to yourself, watch too much TV, avoid eating healthy or working out, blame others (even when you know some things are kind of your fault), feel despair or powerless about things in the world, settle for less than what you want or need, and then beat yourself up? This is when we end up spending a lot of time wondering and asking ourselves – “Why? Why do you do the things you do?”
If you do this, you’re HUMAN! When you wonder why you do the things you do, being Human is why!
If we’re honest with ourselves, most of us are not acting in the way that we know we “should”.
If you’re like most people, you feel attached to the outcome of your goals and intentions (even though you’ve been taught that you shouldn’t be), and you sometimes “manipulate” your partner in your relationships because it’s easier than asking for what you want, you struggle to find your passion even though you’re doing something you think you love…maybe you even feel tired and burned out even though it seems like you’re not doing ANYTHING!
Here’s the deal. We all have hidden energy needs. Your unique energy blueprint, your Human Design, shows you what kinds of energy needs you have.
If you don’t know what you need and how to get your energy needs met appropriately, you might be spending a whole lot of your precious energy unconsciously manipulating your life and fighting with others trying to fill your energy needs.
And, just to make things more “interesting,” you are in partnership with other people (lovers, friends, parents, children, business colleagues, neighbors, etc.) who ALSO have energy needs and don’t know how to get them met appropriately, creating all kinds of human “adventures” that can leave you feeling exhausted, confused, disappointed, angry, frustrated or even bitter.
In this Quantum Alignment Show, I’ll be talking about how to understand the unique energy needs in your Human Design chart, how to ask for what you want and need, and how to help others get their needs met appropriately so that you can create real love, intimacy and a vital, energizing connection with the people in your life!
